Description

On the night of the cull, all good children must be off the streets.
The cull seeks only to recruit flea-infested street urchins.
To play in the Gang Land Wars is an honour and a chance to pay back for your crimes.
On the day of the cull Oona Huntley lost her little brother. As helicopters hover, black clouds threaten rain, and Oona fears the worst.
The Man, their gracious Prime Minister of Albion Minor is using the Gang Land Wars tv show to cull the crime-ridden streets of its thieving urchins by pitting them against the drug lords and their knife-wielding mules.
When she is forced to take part in the Gang Land Wars, she knows it is a death sentence and she might never see her brother again.
But she learns two things in training, attack, don’t defend, and make use of your contacts because to play in the Wars alone, is to die alone.
And Oona is not ready to die.
Full of action and adventure, with a little romance, this story is perfect for fans of The Hunger Games and Marie Lu’s Legend
