Description
Every city in the United Kingdom has had their gangs. This is the story of the rise and fall of the Silver Hatchet Gang: a mythical group of hoodlums, thieves, and murderers, involved in crime, prostitution, protection rackets, threats, gambling and death. They started off in London: a small group of youthful ruffians hell-bent on creating disorder, crime, and fear, predating gangs such as the Krays and the Richardsons by half a century. The book charts their rise from London, through the UK and to Hull, where they remained until a crackdown was launched, and the gang either ceased or went underground.
